DEAN BLACKOAK STAR GEAR TURNS THE "WHAT'S YOUR ADULT FILM STAR NAME?" BAR ROOM JOKE INTO CUSTOM HEADGEAR

A new interactive online store offers consumers a line of customizable baseball caps, featuring their “adult film star name”. These unique names are generated by combining two pieces of personal information; such as an individual's middle name with the name of the street they grew up on, resulting in a fun and kitschy nickname

Indianapolis, IN — January 7, 2008 — Today Dean Blackoak Star Gear announced the launch of a new web site featuring a line of highly customizable baseball caps. The site utilizes an interactive online quiz to find an individual's unique “adult film star name” which can then be embroidered onto one of several different hat styles with various color and design combinations. Customers can also use any name or nick name they desire. The resulting mash-up produces a one-of-a-kind item.

The hat line covers some of the latest trends in head wear, from retro trucker hats by Zkapz™ to the latest in Flexfit™ fitting technology by Yupoong™, and vintage, garment washed Alternative™ hats. Hats were rigorously selected in order to offer customers maximum selection and customization options.

Jarvis has been producing award winning designs and graphic messages in the advertising business for over 18 years. He has also spent time as a comic book artist (some of his comic work is featured on the Dean Blackoak web site) and general illustrator.

Dean Blackoak Star Gear was conceived in early 2007 after Becky Jarvis presented Larry Jarvis a hat with his porn star name Dean Blackoak embroidered on it. She was inspired by a passing comment he made to a friend: "If your wife doesn't think you're a porn star, you're doing something wrong." In the coming months the company plans on introducing customizable apparel lines with blogger, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, eBay, WoW, Second Life, uTube, Digg and other online persona nick names displayed on them.
