SIZING:

One Size Fits All/Adjustable: These hats are for those who don't want to worry about measurin' their noggin. They come with a variety of closures (not the emotional kind) made, most often out of a hook-and-loop with a brass buckle, or plastic snaps. One instance where size truly does not matter.

Flexfit: The original, patented Flexfit brand offers the look and fit of a fitted hat with more versatile sizing. Sweatbands made with spandex allow these hats to stretch to fit a range of sizes.

Our Flexfit caps come in two sizes: Small/ Medium (6 3/4" – 7 1/8") or Large/X-Large (7 1/4" – 7 5/8")

How to measure your head (insert your own clever joke here): Measuring for your head size is both an art and a science. You can use a tape measure or a length of string that you will have to hold up to a tape measure to determine the length. Place the string or tape around you head about 1/8” above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. Basically you need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.

Head Measurement To Hat Size Chart
If your head measurement is 21 1/8" – 22 5/8" Choose Small/Medium (6 3/4" – 7 1/8")
If your head measurement is 22 3/4"-23 7/8" Choose Large/X-Large (7 1/4" – 7 5/8")
If your head is smaller than 21 1/8" or bigger than 23 7/8" choose a one size fits all hat.

DEFINITIONS:

Brushed Cotton: Cotton fabric that is brushed to remove all the excess lint and fibers from the fabric, leaving an ultra soft, smooth finish.

6-panel cap: The six different pieces, sewn together, that make the cap of your hat.

Brim: Also known as the visor or bill, protects your face from the sun. A star should have a nice, golden tan, not a red face.

Buckram: Liner, which adds support to the front of a cap. Plus it sounds like a porn star name. Cool.

Grommet: Stitched holes creating fabric reinforcement.

Snap Closure: Old school hat closure with small holes and corresponding raised knobs used to "snap" and hold the size adjustment in place.

High Profile: A cap whose crown is about 3-4" high. Won't fly off of your head at the curcial moment.

Low Profile: Caps whose crowns are about 3" high.

Semi-structured: A softer Buckram than found in a structured hat, gives the crown a bit of umpff.

Structured: Crown of the cap has buckram to give it shape, even when yer not wearing it.

Twill: A fabric characterized by micro diagonal ribs producing a soft, smooth finish.

Undervisor: The bottom side of the brim, sometimes tinted a color that contrasts the top color.

Unstructured: Crown of cap is supple, with no buckram, so the cap is softer and more relaxed.

Bio-washed: Caps are dyed normally and then very gently washed with stones in a chemical solvent to create a very subtle worn look. So you look like a porn star with a little experience under your belt.
